The Buyer, Purchasing is responsible for procuring materials and services for the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network within the established purchasing guidelines.
This position is remote with a chance of becoming hybrid in the future(you may need to work up to twice a week in the office)
This an entry-level position.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration/other related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 or more years of experience in a Purchasing Department that includes but is not limited to issuing purchase orders, reviewing requisitions and qualification of potential suppliers.
- Prior experience with automated systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to provide efficient and effective customer service.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and/or Google Drive systems.
